The Prologue

In the world of History and Social Studies, it seems to me in my observations of classrooms, that teachers in these fields seem to be the most resistant to technology. History classes are always the last ones to use Powerpoint presentations and most lectures still involve a blackboard (and yes, I mean the physical blackboard). My hope in this blog is to outline how something as simple as a blog can be used to help students comprehend and retain my subject field better. The blog will be broken into 5 segments each pertaining to a different way this blog can be used efficiently in a History class.
